Central trust, to reach the highest endorsement by the
National Board of Accreditation.

With the immense Grace of
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of
Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram, Bhagawan’s Super
Specialty Hospital, has been conferred accreditation by the
National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare
Providers (NABH) for quality patient care. With this,
Swami’s hospital has joined an elite group of health care
institutions across India, which are accredited with NABH.
Further, the hospital is the
only totally free hospital to receive this recognition.
NABH is a constituent board of
Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate
accreditation programme for healthcare Organizations, in
India. Moreover, NABH is an institutional member of ISQUA
the International Society for Quality in Health Care, which
emphasizes the fact that the hospital has received an
international stamp of quality for its unmatched patient
The accreditation further
highlights that the totally free healthcare provided by
Bhagawan Baba’s hospital is of the highest quality. Constant
support by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust was instrumental
in the hospital achieving this goal.
The process of accreditation
was a two-step process, which involved pre-assessment and
final assessment. The assessment team assigned by NABH went
through each process of the hospital minutely and verified
the patient care being provided in the hospital against 636
stringent standards prescribed by NABH.
The SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram,
came through with flying colors on the standards.
