What should we be doing, wherever we are, to perform the most supreme Veda Purusha Yajna? Bhagawan explains in a beautiful message to inspire us.

People resort to gurus to receive mantras (mystically powerful formulae to be recited by them for their spiritual uplift); others seek medicine men and holy monks to get yantras (esoteric talismans to ward off evil forces); some others learn thanthras (secret ri...tes for attaining superhuman powers) from scholars (pandits). But all of this is wasteful effort. One should accept the body as the thanthra, one's own breath as the mantra and the heart as the yantra. There is no need to seek them outside oneself. When all words emanating from you are sweet, your breath becomes Rig Veda. When you restrict what you listen to and prefer only sweet speech, all that you hear becomes Sama gana (rendition of Sama Veda). When you do only sweet deeds, all that you do is Yajur homa (ritualistic sacrifice). Then you will be performing every day the Veda Purusha Yajna, the yajna which propitiates the noblest and highest Vedic Spirit!

Practice the attitude of offering every act at the Feet of God just how a flower is offered in worship.- BABA

Kalasha Sthapana Puja & Grama Seva Commencement - 2015

Radio Sai added 23 new photos to the album: Kalasha Sthapana Puja & Grama Seva Commencement - 2015

Radio Sai is pleased to bring you some glimpses of the Grama Seva Commencement and Kalasha Sthapana Puja in the Sai Kulwant Hall on 13 October 2015

Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning has begun Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva 2015. The matchless project started by Bhagawan which has been giving joy to thousands of poor villagers has commenced today on 13th October 2015. This is one such programme which brought a revolutionary change in the Sai Fraternity which took cue from Swami and started doing their bit in their countries. 153 villages of the three Mandals of Anantapuram to be served are Puttaparthi, Kothacheruvu, and Bukkapatnam.

More than 2000 students from the four campuses of the Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning-namely Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan, Anantapur and Muddenahalli along with students of our Higher Secondary School will participate in this grand event. Over 50000 households will be given food and clothing during this period.

Sathya Sai Grama Seva is an Annual event, which began under the direct guidance of Bhagawan in the year 2000. The main purpose of this project is three-fold:

    1. To give assurance to the rural population that there is someone there to ‘care’ within their community
    2. To sensitize the students to the needs of the community
    3. To give the students exposure to project management and team-building.

    Thank you & Loving Sairam
